EksoGT Robotic Exoskeleton

The EksoGT is a wearable battery operated robotic exoskeleton that is used to help individuals with paralysis or weakness to stand and walk. The EksoGT was the first exoskeleton FDA-cleared to be used with patients of stroke and spinal cord injuries.

Penn Therapy & Fitness’s therapists are extensively trained in the use of the EksoGT. Our specialists will take comprehensive measurements of the lower extremities, including range of motion as part of each patient’s individual therapy plan.

Candidates Who May Benefit From The EksoGT

• Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
• Neuromuscular diseases/injuries causing lower extremity paralysis or weakness
• Spinal cord injury (SCI)
• Stroke

Candidates For The EksoGT Must Be: 

• Medically cleared by a physician
• Approximately 5’0”-6’4” in height
• Less than 220 pounds
• Have hip width no greater than 18 inches (measured in supine)
• Have upper extremity strength to manage an assistive device
